Meg's G100 vs. Meg's G110

It is my understanding that the original Meg's G100 is a re-badged PC7424 with a lifetime warranty, and that the soon-to-be released Meg's G110 is going to be a re-badged UDM. Is this correct? And if so, will the G110 have the same lifetime warrantly? I've been seeing more and more people having trouble with their UDM breaking down, I'm sure it will get better once the bugs are worked out. Anyone know if the PC had difficulties when it was first released? Thanks, Blain

You're correct that the G100 is just a PC with a lifetime warranty. The new G110, as currently planned, comes with a 1 year warranty. Below is a thread from Meg's on the G110:

Meguiar's Online - G110 Dual Action Polisher - New

The G110 looks like it shares some traits with the UDM, but how similar it will be is hard to say until someone actually has a chance to compare them both.

I don't know about PC problems when they were first released, but some do develop problems. I don't have time to search out the threads, but there have been problems with PC's. I know Meg's has swapped out a lot of PC's under that lifetime warranty, otherwise people wouldn't be paying ~$250 for a re-badged PC.
