Megs Cordless Orbital

I am new to the list and needed to know if anyone has used the Meguiars Cordless Orbital buffer to polish and wax? I used it the other day and it just did not seem like it had enough juice when the pad was on the surface?? Any similar experiences?

jones: I've got the Meg's portable too and it's not a replacement for the porter cable that's for sure. I use it when I go car shows or as a quick method of final buff. I've tried to put some NXT with the cordless and, while it does slow down the buffer considerably, it works fine.

The best results I've gotten with this product is using an mf bonnet for a final buff. I've also gotten good results with spraying qd on a finishing pad and going over the car right before a show.
 
I've got this buffer and I used it quite often until I got my porter cable. I thought it did fine for applying a liquid wax. But it just doesn't have the power to be effective with a swirl remover or polish. I used it with both of those but not to good effect.
 
Thanks for the feedback. I have decided to get the PC From Premium. I paid 90 bucks for the cordless so I think for just a little bit more I can get a much better shine.
