Megs combo

tried to lay megs #7 scg on top of megs #80 MSG

Went on ok, but we i went to buff it off it knapped up and left the surface lookin like:scared

Had to reapply the megs #80 to clean up the mess, what gives i thought you could lay #7 on #80

Products applied with lil orbital they should work by hand so the orbital should be ok

The end result was after the wolfgang sealant x2 was applied

But was hoping to use #80, #7, wg combo so what gives

#7 is essentially a ton of oils. Therefore, application and removal is tricky until you get the hang of it.



The WG twins would negate any effects of #7--the Pre-Wax Cleaner (or whatever it's called) would remove the #7, and the WG sealant would not adhere to the oils in #7.



If you are going to use #80-->#7, follow with #26 or #16 paste wax. Apply #7, remove most of it with a terrycloth towel, apply wax, remove wax with mf towel. Voila.

I have used #7 by its self no problem, but it would not lay on the 80

I have used Wg sealant on#7 no problem

just could not get the #7 to lay on #80
