megs cleaner wax??

any used the megs cleaner wax? consumer version burgundy bottle?



a freind has asked what he can use to remove light oxidised paint on a red car, but needs something localy



does cleaner wax in any way compare to aio?? im trying to convince him to wait and mail order the klasse aio
 
The Meg's cleaner wax (A12) is possibly too mild for that job but might be OK. It's very mildly abrasive and has some chemical cleaners. As good as AIO, probably not. Good enough, maybe.



If you can find Autoglym's Super Resin Polish locally I'd probably prefer that.
 
If you do need something stronger than Meg's cleaner/wax (and it sounds like you do), and if you want to stay with the Meg's line, and/or stay with an OTC product, Color X is really the way to go. It has developed quite a following as being a fairly aggressive cleaner with wax characteristics as well. Many folks say that it's the hidden gem in Meg's line . . . .
