Megs cleaner wax..larger size or comparable...

I have a side business detailing...and luckily the company I work for keeps me pretty busy with their fleet of black trucks.

They only want a single step process on the paint..just to make them shiny. I have tried afew CG products with ok results, but one day I just gave Megs cleaner wax ( stuff you buy off the shelf) a try and it left a better shine and did a nice job of getting rid of some ghosting on the paint from some decals that were removed...with very little effort or passes, you could even tell there had been decals on there for 4 plus years!

But...I can only find Megs cleaner wax in the normal OTC bottle size (16 oz. I think) And I would like to find a more economical size to purchase..or something equal to it in its all around performance in a larger size.

Any help would be great!!

Hi

I think Megs #6 the pro line cleaner wax comes in larger containers??

Also #66 a product called quick detailer comes in gallons. That is a true AIO that will polish with abrassives, clean and seal the paintwork.

#6 is a good option.

THere are a ton of good AIOS that are worth trying. KAIO is a great one for one step products.

Auto Detailing Solutions has the #6 in half-gallons and the #66 in gallons. I believe the #6 has slightly more cut than the OTC cleaner wax. They are both good, just keep them off the trim. I haven't used the #66.

The 66 is nice. When family members ask me to detail their cars, and I know they don't care if the car is made flawless (and I know they aren't going to properly maintain it anyways), I turn to 66. When using the PC, you work the 66 like you would 80 (a 2'x2' area), allowing the abraisives to break down, but then you just leave it on, and proceed to the next section of the car. When you have done the entire car, you then go back, and wipe it off - It actually comes off pretty easily.

If I know the person isn't going to wax their car again for a while, sometimes I will throw a coat of Collinote 845 or M26 on top of it.

I would estimate the 66 is about as abraisive at the M9, but that's simply a guess on my part from what I've seen.

Thanks for the suggestions....might have to try the #66. I have Klasse AIO , but is not a good option price point wise...forgot to mention these fleet of trucks are full size Peterbilt semis.

I was using an orange LC cutting pad on the pc...after initial spreading, was working it on4.5 or 5 ..after just afew passes, it was a big difference. These trucks get washed once a week from a company that comes in and washes them...normal brushes and pressure washers kind of thing. So...they are not worried about paint correction..as it wouldnt last very long!! Just make them look good and shiny again.

I loved the Megs Cleaner Wax, because it went on and off very easy and didnt stain anything. So...if you are saying #66 is like this..I will be giving it a shot. Anybody have any pics of before and after with the #66 or other product you like better?
