I just picked up the Megs body brush. Now I'm not a brush fan but after looking at it in the store i was impressed. I have the OXO body brush which I use on lower body panels and license plate areas and such. I compared the two and I think the The Megs brush is softer and denser. The tips seems more feathered as well. I like the way you can remove the handle or reverse it.
I just finished washing my white work truck. Perfect test bed for alot of the products I try out. I'm not as anal with the my work truck as I am with my other cars. I figured i give it a couple washes on the work truck. I currently have 3 coats of Z2Pro about 3 weeks old on the truck. I washed with Z7 and used the new Megs brush. It handled very well, getting in the grill area and around head lights and tail lights. I would wash out the body brush after evey panel and occasionally spray out the brush with the hose if I noticed more than usual dirt and clingy things. I liked the fact that the brush was able to get into some tighht areas, like around the door handles, front grill and mirrors. The ruck wasn't real dirty but hasn't been washed in 2 weeks with normal driving and rain. I evaluated the surface after drying off with my Sonus WW drying towels. Everything looked great. I didn't notice any marks aor marring. The surface was just as clean as if I used my usual chenelle wash sponge. But remember the truck is white and its hard to really see any real surface marring. But I would give the Megs body brush a thumbs up so far. :2thumbs: Using it on a dark color or black would be a far greater test. I think I'll use it from now on, on the work truck, I'm not sure if I have enough Ball$ to use it on the Grand National.
As far as the quality of the brush: well constructed. Rubber on the right places and seems like it will last a long time. Time will tell on how the feather tips wear. Great value for the money. ($10.99)(long handle). I used it with the short handle for the test and it seemd to give me much better control. I also like the way the bristles are white so you can see whats happening and whats stuck on or attached to the tips. I had to pick off some small tar spots a few times.
