Megs 205

I now use 105/205 combo due to recommendations from this forum.

As for the 205.

I find that no matter how little I use, it keeps on going forever, have to do a good wipe down to get the gloss back and see my work.

Is this normal for 205?

Use to use 3m polish, that would dry faster and work out, even with my rotary & a good amount of passes the 205 keeps working as if I used too much product.

But after I wipe off the excess, which sometimes looks as though I just started, it looks great.

Tileman- Sounds like maybe you're using too much; a little M205 goes a long way.

And yeah..it does seem to leave a lot of [whatever] behind, I have to clean things off with TOL's PrepWash. I too use 3M stuff (the old PI-III line), and the two product lines are just very different.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding you but you wouldn't want to buff the M205, or any polish for that matter until it disappears or drys up. I know when I fist started out in a high volume shop back in the day we were taught to buff the area until almost all the product was gone....boy were they wrong! :D

I agree, the 205 just seems to leave more of wet oily residue than others.

Comes right off though when wiped and very happy so far with the results.
