Meg. 3 step and new NXT?

Hi. I'm a relative novice when it come to car detailing. Last year I used Meguirs 3 step wax process with good results. Step one was a cleaner wax, 2 was a polish, and 3 was carnuba wax.

My question is, with the new nxt wax, would there be any benefit to using this with the 3-step process? Replace the carnuba wax with the nxt? Or maybe use the NXT as the 3rd step and the Carnuba as a 4th?

what do you guys think?

Thanks

Actually I just tried this last night, I put on the NXT then the carnauba on top of it. It looks darker, but it could be my imagination. I only did the trunk lid last night as an experiment.

The thing is I am not sure if the step #3 will remove the NXT or not. I am not sure if it as "pure" as P21s or not.

You could do steps 1 and 2, and then use Nxt wax inplace of the regular third step. That would work fine and give you good results. Otherwise, you could play around with doing different topping combos.

I did my brother-in-law's tailgate on his black Toyota truck with step 1 cleaner, step 2 polish and step 3 NXT! turned out absolutely beautiful!!

If you recently did the 3 step process, you probably only need to use the cleaner about once a year. Just used step 2 and NXT. Top with the carnauba if you wish but see how you like the look of NXT first.
