I live in Falls Church and work in Arlington. Spent the first five years here in DC, but happy to be in the burbs now.

:wow: I can't imagine you can get the paint to look much better than it already does!

You know, after spending some time reading and doing research, I am starting to think you are right.

One thing I have noticed, especially on forums like this one, is that there are so many answers to "what product do you use" because it probably isn't about the product. It is about keeping your car clean and caring about the appearance (ie the time you put in). A detailer's skill and concern goes much farther than a revolutionary new products out there. While paint correction is a different story, if you start with a well cared for car, it doesn't matter if you use Zaino, Megs, Optima, Klasse or whatever, it seems the results will be very similar (stunning).

This is of course is my uneducated opinion, but I think it makes sense.

It is like Chef's and their knives. I was classically trained as a chef, and spent many years working with chef's knives. Our knives are a tremendous source of pride for us. Everyone goes through a dozen different knife companies. The young bucks right out of school have the heavy German numbers, then they get fascinated with the Japanese knives the more experienced cooks are using. Then you realize...it really isn't about the knife, it is about how sharp you keep it, how you use it and how you respect it.

That said I think this a great forum and will continue to visit and research here often, because let's face it, trying the new things is a lot of fun. I am not going to get rid of my deep crystal products just yet, hell my wifes car could use some work.

And no, I havent found the perfect Chef knife yet...lol.

What camera are you using? The shots really do look amazing! Falls Church isnt too far. Commute to Arlinton has to suck though lol. My gf works in Arlington and travels from Sterling. NoVA traffic sucks. I would recommend getting a clear bra. NoVA roads has to much constant contruction and will eat up your front end as it did mine.

Thanks. Nikon D200 10mp Digital SLR.

Actually I am VERY lucky with my commute. About five miles each way, and all back roads if I want. Longest it has taken is 20 minutes.

Only problem with the back roads is the condition there in...tough with a lowered car and big rims. Thought about a clear bra, but really don't like the way they look, and seems there always peeling eventually. So far so good, so I can't complain.

Pretty sweet Mazda there. That is by far the best looking Mazda 6 I've ever seen. I don't see that many of them actually. Is there is a big aftermarket variety of performance parts for them?

Thanks, well the aftermarket is getting better, but still not great. Nothing like the evo or sti, then again this car is not really in that class. I was actually the first to have an ecu tune on the Mazdaspeed6 with a DTEC piggyback. Shooting for 350hp to the wheels by fall. Wish me luck, I am probably going to need it..lol.

Looks great! Nice specs. The ETS looks good powder coated.

How close to your 350hp goal are you know? With the ATP GT3071R upgrade 450 could be in your sights with some tuning.

Well right now I have 282whp/330ft#tq. I am not planning on going to a bigger turbo, just reworking the stocker a bit so it operates at 20psi efficcently.

I think there is a lot more power for me because right now I still have the stock cat back and down pipe on. Replacing those alone should easily throw me over the 300 mark. Then I am adding a new SS exhaust manifold and possibly port and polish the cold pipe and intake tract.

Right now some guys are having trouble breaking the 310 mark, even with big turbos. There is a ton of speculation why, but nothing concrete yet.

As always with tuning, time will tell.

350 will make me very happy, I have no desire to go any further. Personally I really do not think the rest of the car could handle more than that reliably.
