mazda miata detail for car show

Hello everyone. I did this detail a few days before our local car show which was last saturday. The car is my buddies miata. IT is a fun little car with a nice turbo, new rims, tires, and a few extra goodies. I did the entire car but dont really have any good pics of the inside.

Paint:

Opt NWR&S wash
Meznerna Po85rd via meguiars polishing pad @1500
RMG via hand
Pink Wax x2
Souveran


Tire Region

Super Degreaser used in wells along with the opt NRWS.
Rims were sealed in and out with #2180 and PB WS a week prior
Wells dressed with meguiars hyper dressing 3:1
Tires Dressed with CG VRT

MISC

During the show the car was wiped down with S+W and #425 to remove the rain drops from a 10 minute shower.

RMG on exhaust tip

Engine

Degreased with Meguiars Degreaser 4:1
Paint shined with OCW
Mothers Metal Polish on aluminum parts
Meguiars Hyper Dressing 3:1 to dress

More vehicles to come. I am stuck at home recovering from getting 5 wisdom teeth removed.

2 things... how did your friend do at the show and have you received any calls due to the show

Hope you feel better, but I thought that people only had 4 wisdom teeth

Well my buddy was placed in the 2 seater sports car class against some vintage corvettes and a an shelby cobra. Needless to say that was the wrong class for him. He did have the most detailed car though, but there is no award for that. I havnt had any calls but I did a 25% off drawing and I ned to yet call the winner.

Only really special poeple have 5 wisdom teeth lol.

looks good!

that's not a turbo though. That looks like a supercharger. See the black pully on the front of the box (on the left). That looks like the pully from a blower.

Looks good. That car is in desperate need of a new suspension though. A car like that with that kind of power and those kind of wheels and with those kind of tires needs a better suspension. Also, if I am not mistaken,those look like the stock lug nuts that came with the car. Thats a no-no with those kind of wheels.

My buddy got these wheels about a week before the show so unfortunatly he couldnt get the new suspension yet. He comments on how he wants it too haha. As for the Lugs they are the ones that came with the new wheels. Thanks for your well wishes, and I am feeling better each day.
