Maybe we need a product truce...

Amen. It's not fair to comment with no first hand experience. May even be a good idea to only comment until after one has mastered the product in question. Some products have a learning curve.

Hey, SilverLexus, was the true purpose of this thread to have some sort of consensus by which you could exclude certain members who haven't tried certain product variants from certain threads? By saying, in effect "shut up, you've never used this, and our new 'rule' here is you can't comment on anything unless you've used it"? Maybe we should ban pictures next?

I agree, I'd love to see an addendum to the man law that says when touting a product you also directly compare it to some other products you have used for reference.

that would definately be the best way for us to learn....and maybe we can include a temp/humidity reference for the day that we used the different products. Many of the products I've used will work totally different on a dryer, hot day than say a 60% humidity day that only gets to 60 degrees.

there's nothing wrong with owning and using a variety of products. I do believe that if you try enough products that you will find that one has some superior charactaristics. However it is designed for a niche market and may not be the best choice for volume use and it is a fairly expensive initail investment.

Well said, sir.

How many times do I have to say, Skill & Knowledge > Product.

While I agree with this, it's also my experience that some products suck and some are great. So my formula is:

KNOWLEDGE+EXPERIENCE+GREAT PRODUCT=PERFECT SHINE*

*As the Mayor likes to say. :)

Less bias more open-mindness. Respect the opinion of others. If you're happy with the results of your products then great. Dont be afraid to try other products.
