MaxWax now or later

My plan is to put a couple coats of DP max wax over a couple layers of EX-P.



Last week I put 2 coats of EX-p on my car in immediate succession, so I don't think the first one had time to fully cure.



Do you guys think that I should put a coat of maxwax on this weekend, or or wait a week and put another coat of ex-p on this weekend?

Very nice & shinny. Yes I would put a few coats of Maxwax. Since u already applied EX-P last week. Even if it didn't cured properly. I feel it's should be good enough like applying 2 coats for even coverage. I think that the EX-P coat should be sufficient. :)



But it's up to u. If you have the time. Go for it. Not problem. :)
 
I just did my wifes car and put 2 coats of Wolfgang Deep Gloss Sealant on it and it looked the same as it did after one coat. I put two coats on hoping it would add longer protection.
 
Some people like to put on 2 coats of sealant to make sure they didnt miss any spots, and for increased protection. But with WG, you really should wait 24 hours before applying another coat, or a coat of wax. And it shouldnt be exposed to the weather for 12 hours.
 
I agree .... 24 hours is sufficient for most sealants to cure as long as it isn't overly cold or humid. The two coats you did one right after the other was good to assure coverage. You could apply a coat of wax now if you like, but I think it looks pretty good right now based on your photos:2thumbs: Why not apply the wax in a month or so and then it will do more to extend your paint protection ....
 
When I put the WG on I waited 24 hours between coats but it still didn't help with shine or depth. All in all I'm still glad I put two coats on, if nothing else it's for peace of mind.
 
I'm gonna add a couple layers of Maxwax, and if that don't bring the shine I'm lookin for I'll just OP the car again and use EX-P alone.



Another tub of wax in my collection that won't get used again.
 
lol. I'll find a use for it.



Hopefully the shelf life is a little better on the stuff. The Turtle Wax ICE I bought last year and used twice turned brownish. I'm guessing its bad.
