matte dash product??

I looked at the 1Z but it doesn't mention UV protection anywhere? That is not vital for me as it's always garage kept, but it definitely doesn't hurt.

I'll cast votes for either 1Z Cockpit Premium or Poorboy's Natural Look. Either of those produce closer to a matte finish than either 303 or #40. That is not a rap on either of the latter two products, which I use with some frequency with nice results.

One particular problem I have with 1Z CP is on the smooth/hard surface of the VW New Beetle's dash. It produces a splotchy appearance. I haven't encountered that problem on any other interior surface. :nixweiss

Interesting about the 1Z on the VW dash. My dash has a very light texture to it and is actually pretty prone to splotches but I'm not going to worry too much about it. I just want to use something that will not be satin at all and has UV protection.
