Mark V Products

Hello everyone. I am new to this group and to detailing as a whole. I would say I am a true newbie to the business and am mostly doing friends cars on the side to get a start. I was just curious...Has anyone else used Mark V Products? I have been using their "Depth Restorer" and polymer/carnuba mix polish and have had excellent results. I look forward to hearing other experiences good or bad and look forward to future advise from you all. Be safe and God bless!

I used Mark V when I began detailing about 12 yrs. ago. I liked their IP100 at first, but in humid conditions you get snail tracks. The dressing and all purpose cleaners are good as is IP200- yellow and smells like Hawaii- great on red and blacks.

I didn't think their blue paste wax was anything special- low quality carnauba IMO- dried very hard. I would take One Grand Blitz anyday over their paste.

Their acid wheel cleaner worked well, but most stay away from HF these days.

Does the same family still own the company? I heard they lost big over a patent suit with their clay.

The paint sealant is pretty good. It smells like blueberries, goes on easy and comes off easy. The durability is so-so. The product also doesn't stain plastic. The product is geared more towards bulk sales, not really a boutique product. I've also used the Fresh N' Clean Interior Shampoo, but wasn't too impressed with it.
