KERMIT & I will be making the rounds this Saturday. If any of your fine people are free I would sure like to meet you fellow AUTOPIANS.

830 until about 1230 will be doing the St. Paddy's Day Parade in Hermosa Beach.

About 2PM will be visiting AUTOBOOKS on Magnolia Ave in North Hollywood [Jay Leno norlmally drops by this store on most Saturdays in the early PM]

From 4PM to 9PM will be attending the BOB'S BIG BOY CRUISE in Glendale on Glenoaks.

Dang, I sure miss the So Cal car lifestyle. For car nuts there are almost too many things to do and places to go.



Every time I go back home to visit I drive to Autobooks and spend some $$. It's truly a one-of-a-kind place and could probably only exist in So Cal.



Trust me - there is nothing even remotely resembling the California Car Culture any place else in the country, maybe even the world.
 
AUTO BOOKS is a fantastic place. You never know who you will run into in the store. I've ran into Dan Gurney in there once. About a year and a half ago was in there looking at Cobra books. Someone behind me asks if I was interested in AC Cobras. Answered 'Yeah, building one right now" as I was turning around to meet the person. Turns out it was Jay Leno. Spent the next 90 minutes [off and on] talking about Cobras & friends we both had in the warbird/aviation community. What a great guy. The guys at the store say he comes in at least once a week, almost every Saturday. I hit that store about twice a month [not always in the Cobra though] even though it is a 62 mile drive from home.

If your an aviation buff AUTO BBOKS is also one of the best aviation booksstores on the planet, also
 
Anyone ever use this stuff? i found a bottle of it and have never used it must have bought it at some point,i assume use with a black polishing pad?
