Makita wool pads any good?

Hi everyone.



I've had my Makita now for a few months and am very comfortable with it using foam pads. After reading up here about the wool pads I'd like to give them a try. Has anyone ever used the pads that came with the Makita buffer? I'd like to give them a shot before ordering anything but if they don't even compare to LC pads then I'd rather not waste my time with them.

Yea you need full wool for gelcoats (boats/RV's) no sythetics at all for those. Outside of that though you get better results from sythetics. I have a few makita wool pads here. Like above they are ok. I love schliegle pads. They've been around and know more about pads than any of these other new companies out there. I know they've been around and have been #1 in pads for over 50 years now. Nothing but full confidence when dealing with them.
