Makita, Cyclo, DeWalt, Hitachi, CE, or...

I love the Makita 9227C (have had one for over 2 years), but after using the Metabo makes it seem a little lesser of a machine. The Metabo is the smoothest, more well balanced polisher I've ever used.

I'm going to make this simple for you.

I currently have a PC and have had it for about 2 years. I love it. But, when facing intense swirls, scratches, oxidation, etc., I'm going to need a rotary. I've searched on here and elsewhere and can't get a clear anwser to the following question....

Which of the following in your opinion is a good rotary buffer and more importantly, why? The Makita, DeWalt, Hitachi, CE, another brand, or perhaps a Cyclo. Is it the weight, the performance (how does a rotary perform differently from each other), the ease of use, the versatility, etc.?

The metabo weight, feel, dial controls are very similar to a PC. The 700RPM speed make it an easy tool to learn -especially if you're new to the rotary.

For the guys that use Makita, Dewalt, etc... they will miss the speed trigger, and probably not like the placement of the speed dial.
