The debate was long,
very long
should I go for random orbital
or
buffer (9227CB-like)?
searching & reading , looking for prices , possibilities, availability,...
I finaly ordered the Makita BO6040 as my detailing machine to be.
What are the features?
Pad dia.:6"
Amp 115V:6.6A
Amp 220V:3.4A (I ordered this one of coarse)
Power : 750 Watts
Forced rotation : 180 -> 670 RPM
Orbits per minute : 1600->5800 OPM
Orbit dia.7/32"
Weight : 5.9 lbs
Price : normaly 423 Euro , but "winter"promo : 185Euro!!!!!!!!!!
(223Euro with taxes) that's the reason Santa will come empy handed, this promo only lasts 'till Dec.6th
As far as I could trace the Internet , the BO6040 should be simmular to the PC 7366 , but with more power (at 115V a PC7366 takes 3.6Ampere = about 420Watts)
At Autopia no one ever reviewed the BO6040 , guess I'll be the first.
Now I have to figure out a way to get a CMA pads-package shipped to Belgium.
All ideas are welcome.
