makita 9227

"Alright" i made the desicion to order the Makita 9227 and it was delivered today and this tool looks sweet. Is their anything else i need or am i set to go

1)Should i Change the standard the BP and order another one.I will use the Edge 2000 Pads .

2)As a learning curve should i practice with the pads that come with the Makita,or use the LC 7".5" pads i own..

1) I would. Personally I would get one of the flexible backing plates from PAC or one of the other vendors.

2) Depends on what you're learning on. If it's just practice panels go ahead and use the Makita pads, but if you're working on an actual vehicle, I'd use the LC pads. No sense in messing up good LC pads on practice panels, though.
