I was scared skinny, when I put this to my truck's hood on Sunday morning. Saturday I didn't have mich success using my PC and DACP to feather in some color & clearcoat I had used to repair some stone blemishes in the paint. The 7227 did in 5 minutes what the PC failed to do in one hour - both attempts were done using DACP and Meg's burgundy pad, then Meg's Swirl Remover 2 on yellow pad followed by Menzerma's FP on white pad. Hood now appears to be completely scratch/swirl free AND the new paint is nicely blended in. Followed with AIO and it just sparkles. Unfortunately, no pix, but that wasn't the point of this post anyway.
Using a rotary is not that scarey now - especially since I watched Meg's video on repairing paint blems, twice. (I wonder if my air compressor can) drive a DA air sander..... OP is really starting to get to me)
Wife wanted me to use the 7227 on her beater Buick and it really brought back the shine - except for the scratches and places where tree sap dissolved the clear coat. THESE I highlighted with some AIO. After viewing, she wanted me to do all of the car, but it started to rain.....
