Maguire's Pads

I don't know about a "discount" but I just ordered a three pack directly from the Meg's website. For $24.95 you get two 6.5" yellow polishing pads and one 6.5" salmon colored finishing pad (all H&L backed). I think you end up saving about $5.00 over ordering them individually.

Are these the same as the individual pads listed on the Meguiars website?

The pictures on the Meguiars website make the 3-pack pads look slightly different than the individual ones?? :confused:

As far as I know they're the same.....I sure hope so anyway. I'll let you know when they arrive (should be around Monday or Tuesday).
 
they are 100% identical - I've used them that way for a long time...





oh, and I dunno about Maguire's pads..... as far as I know they've always been Meguiar's pads..... :xyxthumbs
 
was that they are not the same. How different are they, I am not sure. The other pads (outside of the 7000,8000,9000) seem to be more porous and not as refined.



I am still looking into it as well though.

I always order the three-packs because it's almost like getting one free. It always comes with 2 W-8006 pads, and 1 W-9006 pad. I don't know what's up with the pictures, but this is exactly what comes in the three-pack. Also, it doesn't come in some three-pack package. It's just three individually packaged pads that are sold at a cheaper price.
 
Paco ... The set does indeed consist of two W-8006 and a W-9006 pads. Interestingly, I've you delete the suffix for this set (ordering just WDAV99, rather than WDAV99-B), and send $32.95 rather than $24.95, you'll get in addition to the pads their 5" hook & loop backing plate. This plate is just about perfect for their 6-1/2" pads while their other size (8") is a bit much for 6" backing plates, IMO.
 
I ordered the backing plate and three pads a couple of months ago. This package was on sale. I can not find my invoice but I remember the S&H was very high. I am waiting for CMA discount before additional purchases.
