I just got done with it today. I started with a sheet of lexan and bent it in to the shape that I needed. Next I went to a local vinyl shop make the lettering. I made the side “supports� out a aluminum.
The old one I made was almost the same design as this one but had black vinyl under the letters, Even though this made it easier to read…. I was at a few shows and had points taken off because the black was “coveringâ€� parts of the car. This time I went with clear. On the windy days I have a red brick that has carpet on the bottom to sit on the bottom of the sign to keep it from blowing away..
I have a show next Saturday, well see how it works...
