M3 @ some track. Awesome vid.

Wow that is impressive. I couldn't make out alot of the other cars on the track , except for that red porche, he he went past all of them like they were standing still. I didn't watch the second one so I am not sure if it was different but I would love to see the oustide of that car to see what it looks like.

No. it was a double post of the link by accident. (whoops)

Yes I saw how he passed the porsche. A bit surprised, but again, that was a "GTR M3".

Possibly an amateur driver as well. Anybody can run on the Nurburgring, all you need is a helmet and around $10US from what I've been told. :)

If you read the small entitys in the link, you see he is a team bmw driver. Also in the video you can see how quickly he shifts at the right corners. I'd be to occupied anticipating the next turn to even think about when to shift and give it some gas.

No no, I meant the other cars on the track, that red Porsche included. :)

Oh, Yea it could be. I also saw an e46 3 series sedan along with a mini cooper, so I'm sure you're right.

That was awsome. One of these days I will get to go to a driving school and try that out myself.

That engine sounds like it is having some fun, and experiencing a little pain at the same time.

What a Rush.... man!!! the only time you hear the turbo is when it's spooling down. the throttle response is out of this world.....Awesome thanks for the post

Yeah. Sure wish I could treat my car like that, and not have to worry about whether it'd get me to work the next morning! :D :lmfao

Awesome video. The driver was Hans Stuck. He's an ex Formula One driver and raced in the last F1 race ever held there at the Nurburgring's full course, I think in 1976. Back then there were almost no armco barriers and when cars went off, they went off very badly... usually into trees or rock faces. Modern F1 cars would fly by that M3 even faster than he was passing the other cars on the track. Probably a good thing F1 doesn't race there anymore. Yikes. As someone said previously, you can pay less than $100 for a few laps around the 14 mile 176 turn track. When you rent cars anywhere near the Nordschlieffe as it's called, they make you sign a waiver saying you won't use the rental to drive on the Nurburgring, and if you do and you wreck it, you bought it. Europe rules.

Wow. How much do you think that car is worth. OPbviously its real life value is probably nothing, but in theory, with all the oney put into that M3. Anyone?

Excluding the price of the car. I would bet there is at least 100k in Competition parts alone.... I would bet there are mods done to that car that we can't get our hands on in the general public ....just speculating though.

Yeah, definitely factory backed technology in that car. Could you imagine something like that as street legal? That would rule.:howdy
