almost time to tailgate
i detailed the engine only of a 98' bmw m3 yesterday. very cool car. i don't know what was the best part, detailing it or getting to drive it around the building. of course to drive it around to the back of my place i had to go up the street and turn around:D

thanks, the engine was in pretty good shape, just really dusty. it took about two hours to get it looking like that. the car is great and the guy that owns is really cool as well. he's a big time car fanatic.

i just attached the pictures, not sure how i did it. i just individually inserted each one.

wish I could check it out Tim as I'm sure you did an awesome job. Problem is I'm on dialup and waiting for the pics to load is sort of like watching grass grow. :(

Natty

See Natty! The last time you complained with mine they were 800x600. These ones are 1280x960  Glad I have fast internet access :D

sorry natty, those are some big pics. i've had cable for so long i've gotten spoiled. i'll reduce 'em next time. hey we've had so much rain around here, you can actually see the grass growing, lol...

hey tassadar. i just used a damp microfiber and stoners trim cleaner, since there is so much vinyl under the hood. i also used my steam shark. this thing works great for hard to reach areas under the hood. plus it doesn't require getting the engine wet. bmws are notorious for moisture problems messing up the electronics, especially where the diagnostics hook up. then once i had everthing clean, i hit it with stoners trim shine. it looked good. i really could have spent anothet hour working on it but then i'm anal that way. the customer was very happy.

here is the steam shark. excellent tool for detailing engines: steam shark

Man I love a clean engine !!!! Thats Clean !!!!

I have been using Stoner Products religiously for the past (2) years !!! I love Trim Cleaner and I found that their aerosal products save me so much time !!!!

Again Great Job !!!!!!!

thanks dean,
yea i like stoner too. they're kind of a no-nonsense detailing line. trim cleaner works great on vinyls. i've just started using the trim shine and i really like it. nice shine and no greasiness.

That Looks Good Give me some time Im going to Detail A extemly Dirty Jeep Engine. Did you clean that K&N Filter with the K&N Filter Cleaning solution or just some soap and water looks pretty good.
