Hey guys I'm pretty new to buffing world but I been tryin to use the makita on and wool pad or orange cutting pad - either way during my buffing the product is drying very quickly any suggestions? I no I'm not at s too high of

speed because I'm using maybe 1500 and it says to use fom 1500-2000rpm, I also know not to stay on a area too much so I'm not sure why it's drying so quickly. The temperature I'm working in is probably low 80s and this happens on various cars and even the pc 7424

edit- I Also tried different amounts of m105 but it seems the more I put the more product dried up on the car

M105 has a very short work time and if you're doing this outside then that's just going to make it worse.

M105 has such a short work-time that I'm tempted to quip "it's a feature!" but if it's drying out so fast that you're having trouble using it then I'd consider a) sufficient product? and/or b) small enough work area?

I have mixed feelings about extending the work time via water/etc. While it's worked OK for me it can also lead to some significant increases in hazing as the water replaces the lubes.

Last 2 days with heat index @ 103/105 the M105 was drying almost instantly.....Spritz of water allowed enough extended time to finish....Didn't experience the same rapid drying with M205

I stumbled upon using #34 with #105, and it worked out for me. Myself, I'd be afraid to try it another way. I think that you gotta use "something," though.
