M105 testing via rotary and UDM!

So now with the introduction with #105, and #95, is there any point to purchase the old #85 compound?

No. I've used mostly Meguiar's products over the last 3 years detailing, and have found almost no use for #85... #84 and #83 have been by far the polishes I've used more often, and #84 has taken out everything that came my way...

I also got a 12oz. bottle of m105 to see what all the hype is about, but from what I hear, it's a great product that will leave many polishes on the shelf

I wonder if M105 w/ PC could remove light wetsanding marks. It does it so quickly with the rotary that it makes me wonder if a little longer working time using PC (and maybe 2 sets), could remove them too. Would be nice to know if the need ever arises.

Ya I was surprised how fast the #105 compound removed those wetsanding marks within a span of less than 15 seconds. Has someone done a review on the #95 because it claims too that it can remove 1200grit wetsand marks.

And I believe it may very well work with a PC and proper cutting pad combo.

I'm thinking about re-spraying my front bumper and will have to wetsand and buff afterward. That's the main reason it would be useful to know if I could remove the sanding marks w/ this combo.

However....I'm not going to let my car be the test dummy on whether 105 + PC/Orange can remove them and end up left with wetsanding marks. Maybe somebody that has both PC and Rotary can test it out next time they wetsand.
