Part of my Christmas gift to the family this year was a made from scratch ham, that I made- from scratch. Ordered in a raw shoulder ham, cured it and smoked it. A two week process. Packed it in a cooler and drove it up to WV for Christmas dinner. I'm a bit biased, but believe me when I say this is a truly world class ham. Made one for my dad, too.





It was really delicious, and everybody thoroughly enjoyed it. 20lbs of ham for 5 of us, so there's a lot left for making soup or sandwiches!
