Lunch/dinner thread.

I'm prolly crazy, but I want to eat a Carolina Reaper - the hottest pepper in the world. I think you have to order them online. A friend said he would eat one with me. I will follow up when I get ahold of some.

I just flat wouldn't do it. Years ago I was young and stupid, on a dare, I tried a brown (chocolate?) habanero pepper. I can't even explain the agony associated with it. As a comparison, I've also been sprayed in the face with pepper spray and that didn't hold a candle to eating the pepper. I literally wasn't well for the following 3 days. I contemplated going to the hospital the night I tried it. From my understanding these peppers are several times hotter than the habanero. I just wouldn't do it. Should you consider trying it, have a gallon of milk handy. The milk probably won't kill the burn but if you're lucky drinking a gallon may make you throw up and save you from the next couple of days. ;)
