Lug Nut Cleaner

True...in that case I would use something like Meg's wheel brush. It seems to get the job done on both of my cars.

Yeah, on some cars I do the wheels brush is fine. On our Impreza though the brake dust really gets caked in there and I have to use the foam on a stick. My F-150 they are covered and I don't worry about them. LOL

That will be my wheels cleaning tool this year as well. Once detailing season starts again anyway. LOL

By the way....What about the new washing unit from the Tornador people?

I have not heard of how the production is coming but I will be carrying it once it comes out. I am starting to do more and more with an air gun now so it will be a good tool to have.

Man, I use those foam swaps(20 pcs), it works from me. Thats on my car thou. If you have those tuner nuts...its going be hard to clean.

It would be nice to have a brush like you use on car battery terminals but alot softer. But it wouldnt work on alot of wheels though.

Take the lugs off and clean them?

I have two sets of rims for my Jeep(on-road and off-road).. I usually clean the rims up before I swap them out, that makes it alot easier to clean the back sides and the area where the lugs would be. :)

I use a 2" China Bristle paint brush. You can buy a variety of sizes and softness. Works EVERY time for all nooks and crannies around lug nuts and lasts forever.

Forget cotton swabs, lug nut brushes, wheel brushes, etc...

A simple paint brush and you're set.

Where do you buy a China bristle brush?

Any and every Home Depot, Lowes, Ace, WalMart, KMart or local paint store.

A quick Google search will bring up zillions of them.
