LSP's of the future?

I doubt none are as durable, easy to use, versatile and technologically advanced as Opti-Coat. I never hear or see anyone saying anthing bad about it unlike some of the others. DavidG is a genius and his tech support for this product is 1st rate.

It's manufactured and sold by Optimum to Professional Detailers. If you don't fall into that category, then find someone who does and get some. Don't discount the product just because it's not sold or marketed to the masses.

I tried to get hold of some Opti-Coat but never managed to. I've been using Aquartz and have to same I am very happy with it.

I emailed them this morning and had a reply from David before lunch. There is an attached release form that you need to send back to them to be able to order it. I'm hoping to have some very soon to try out for myself!

you forgot to include Nanolex. So far only Nanolex, Sonax and Aquartz are available to the general public.

I've never tried sonax before but from the package and video its does seems to be the most user-friendly and easiest in terms on application.

Opti-coat on the other hand generates hype but making it difficult to acquire (hate this kinda marketing), is a biatch to apply(threw out a few applicators becos it flew off my hand and onto the floor as i was not used to the friction from this product), is a biatch to remove and smells like wasabi which made me crave sashimi the whole time i was applying the product rofl

It’s not marketed at all! It’s not even posted on their website. It’s for Professional Detailers that are fully insured. Not for every Tom, **** & Harry still living at their Mom & Dad’s house wanting to put some new LSP on their riced out Euro.

I’ve never used anything easier .It’s very similar to Opti-Seal. 2-3 small squirts from the syringe is enough to easily coat 1-2 medium sized panels. That alone tells you that something about its spreadability. Tell me what other product only requires 15 CC’s of product to completely cover a car. I’ve coated several vehicles and I’ve never had a problem with applicators springing out of my hand. But maybe that’s why this product is only sold to experienced Pros.

You don’t remove Opti-Coat? You apply a thin, uniform film and leave it. There's no removal.

You might be referring to the Japanese coatings? From the way you've described OC, I'm confused and question if you've really used it.

oh come on, forum hype is the best form of marketing and you know it.

i highly doubt ricers would be able to afford this coating though :D

That is downright misleading. after the product has flashed the whole panel still needs to be buffed to remove excess otherwise when it cures within the hour there will be a permanent hazed look where excess is applied
