Lowes Grout Sponge

I think the OP was just looking in the wrong section of the store

:welcome to autopia

Unfortunately, I don't think so. :sadpace: I went to Lowes last Friday to pick some up and they are all gone. They are normally in the cleaning section with the mops. I went to the normal spot that they are located in and saw the sign with the $1.98 price with no Proline boxes or even a single sponge left anywhere in the aisle. I have been checking the website lately and that same day I saw them online, but when I checked yesterday, there weren't any Proline products available at any locations in my area. If they truly were discontinued, what would be the best alternative to this for ONR washes? I use it on my wheels with ONR and it works great. I use a Target Vroom MF Sponge for the paint since it holds more water and goes faster without scratching.

I'm heading for Lowes right now!!

I went to Lowes tonight and found four on the tile isle. Then I found the mother load on the cleaning isle, so I put two back. I know they're only a few bucks but I want to actually try one before I go nuts stocking up. ONR at dawn and we'll see how they work.

I'm going to follow the ONR with Prima Amigo and Blackfire Wet Diamond Wax with acrylic polymers (batch 23). (I know, that's another thread):bolt

Picked up 8 today, you have to check by the cleaning aisle in some stores...the one in Brooklyn had them under a shelf and all the way in the back, kinda had to dig for them.

Lol there's at least a box left, they also had a box of the wishbone ones...just had to pull them out cause they were a bit buried.

Ok. So I used mine today and I don't see what the big deal was. Used

my DP Rinsless wash and it worked out ok I guess. What was I suppose

to see as the difference maker here?

this sponge has lasted longer and retains it's shape more than the many other ones i've used (including the more expensive zymol sponge). GS's aren't for everyone, but i've had good success (i use it mainly with the traditional wash) with them more than other wash media's...

What did you expect from a sponge? Especially for 2 bucks!
