Low VS High income areas

Which ones yield more response from customers? I feel that if I pass out my flyers to people of low income toward the village they will be deterred by the prices. My buddy who did detailing for a while and was sucessfull at it told me to pass out in the village because its much denser in that area with the homes being close together and with most homes having 2 cars. Also with the homes so close I will get more eyes on me while im working. Whats your take on this situation?

I guess it all depends on how much you want to charge per vehicle. You can't chage an arm and a leg if the results are not what your customer is looking for. If you're a highly skilled detailer, and are very confident with a polisher, and have some good products, then you can charge more. If you're learning still, go for volume.

You never want to target people below a certain income. These types of people do not have the disposable income to spend on a luxury service such as detailing. You want to target busy professionals who care about their vehicles, but do not have the time to maintain the cars themselves. More importantly is that they have the money to spend on such a service.

Yea just decided to scrap the village, going to the neighbrohood over from mine, Mid-High income houses with several people having vettes or sports cars. Also having my dad take a nice stack of flyers to work to pass around.
