love poorboys nl but...

I don't much care for the scent of it. While it works great and I love the look it leaves the smell leaves something to be desired. I have other PB products that I love as well and will continue to use especially as I don't have to smell them everytime I get in my vehicle. What other product out there will give me the same look in my interior but with a scent that's more grown up. Will a mix of woolite and water give me the same look?

Natural Look is the one that smells like cherry? If you want something that has no scent, try 303 or perhaps Armor All low sheen...I think Meguiar's also has a "natural look" interior dressing; not sure if it has a scent. Their Interior Quick Detailer also leaves pretty much a "natural" look, and has a light scent that doesn't seem to linger much.

I use poorboys ss&s and b&b and want to find another interior cleaner that gives me the same look as nl but with a more grown up smell

You use Super Slick & Suds on the interior? That's a car wash soap if I'm not mistaken. Natural look isn't as shiny as B&B and does have a cherry scent but it goes away after a couple hours in my experience.

No I don't use ss&s on the interior. It's just another of the poorboys products I use and like. Don't much care for the armor all scent either. I know I'm being picky but I'd like to find something a bit better smelling. And the cherry smell is still there a day later ( just used it yesterday)

Like Mike suggested, 303 leaves more of a typical interior protectant smell. I personally don't care for it. Adam's VRT has a pretty strong scent but it's not cherry... can't quite put my finger on what it is but you probably wouldn't like it either if you don't care for NL.

Maybe Sonus Total Eclipse?

I don't particularly care for the smell either. It's pleasant enough during application but after a couple of days it drives me nuts. I think they could stand to tone it down a bit. So, I often find myself using 303 Aerospace Protectant instead. It's a touch less shiney and the smell doesn't last but a moment.

It's been a while since I've had NL but I don't remember the smell of it lingering too long. I do like the Armorall Low Gloss for interior. Also been happy with the Vroom protectant from Target store as it has a very matte look as well.

V..

I read somewhere that if you leave the NL bottle open for a day the smell will evaporate away and it will become odorless. Might be worth a try if you hate the smell. I would like the smell to hang in a little longer. :)

Sludge

The original question asked about Woolite and water and of course that is great for cleaning but there is no protection that NL and all the other formentioned products provide.

Cherries Rule! I used some NL on Thursday and I just came in from the vehicle. Couldn't smell the NL and Lord knows I tried. Couple of days and the smell is gone. It ain't that bad if you don't mind cherries.

I just started using some Megs interior detailer and damn if that stuff doesn't reek of orange. It's really offensive, imo. :/

That's another that goes away so fast that it doesn't even matter for me. I have never had a complaint about it or NL.

Ya, it does seem to go quick. I'd imagine most folks don't mind the smell - I don't know, it's a little too antiseptic orange for me. :)
