A few months ago I detailed a friends step dads Lotus for free(never do that again) so that I would be able to put it on my business cards and also my web page later on when I set one up. Anyway it was all done with Zaino. Here are the steps and pics:

Tires were down with AutoMagic's Magic Dressing

I forgot to use the ZFX since it was my first time so the next day I did Z5,Z6,Z2,Z8

All was done by hand. I should have used my pc since the paint was pretty hard and not all the swirls were taken out. His step dad was amazed so I guess thats all that counts. The paint was exceptionaly slick and looked great. Not many before pics sorry.

Is that a Pantera in the upper left of that last pic? Guy's got some sort of love for unreliable mid-engine cars that look good all the same! Beautiful work. The body work looks surprisingly level for a fiberglass car, much better than the Vettes, Vipers and Elises I've seen.

Jesus Christ! you've got an eye MCoupeBen. i forgot that car was in that pic. anyway yeah thats the shell of a pantera. hes got that one, a street one that he drives everyonce in a while, and his race pantera thats FULL race. its pretty sweet. they werent too reliable you're right but almost everytime he drove the street one, he would take the engine out and fix something so now its one of the few panteras i know of with out a single problem. The lotus gets driven oh i think once a year. he has so many cars he cant drive them all.....man that must suck I wish i had something like that to worry about. anyway thanks guys for the posts.
 
cj99si, when we talked all he said was "get the paint flawless, i dont care about the interior, the glass, exhaust pipes wheels or wells". so i left everything alone except the paint. and i just quickly cleaned the wheels cause it was bugging me. everytime i look at that pic i want to go and finish the wheel wells LOL.
