Lottery!

Maybe he will buy some new cars, and let me wash them. I got to make money some how. I'm making my million one car at a time! lol

I would stop working for a while until I figured out what to do with all the money. I think I would give some away to charity, invest some, give some to my family and take a trip somewhere.

You know that the government will get their share. They always do! :bawling:

You know what..I think I'd do that too. Since my Son has beat Cancer, I would donate half to that research. Then I would do what I said in my previous post, with the other half.

I doubt it.
When I was in my 20's, I thought I could retire on $10,000 a year and have plenty to spare. Didn't work out that way. We come up short every year.:)

Yeah but when you are that my age, and have basically everything of my paid off already like my house, cars, and everthing in between it wouldnt be a problem. I might work just to help out but not because I would have to. The main thing that would stop me from being able to live on it would be my son.

I'd stock my garage with everything I'd need to do Machining and detailing (everything, a nice TIG, a Lathe, a Mill, etc...). Then I'd take care of the taxes and invest the rest (after fixing up the CRX). I'd still work, probably something involving a race team.

A Richmond County sheriff's investigator collected a big reward Thursday, but it wasn't for capturing a notorious crook.

Instead Jesse Green scratched his way to riches in the Georgia Lottery's new $300 Million Gold Rush game, winning $2.5 million.

"I thanked God, then called my wife and told her to put in her two weeks' notice at MCG," he said Thursday night.

But the 51-year-old ex-Marine and nine-year veteran of the sheriff's department has no plans to quit his day job, where he works as a property crimes investigator.

Investigator Green bought the winning ticket from a Peach Orchard Road convenience store Thursday afternoon.

"I was getting gas and decided to buy two tickets, the first one was a loser and the second was a winner."

Sheriff Ronnie Strength couldn't be happier for his multimillionaire employee. "He is the nicest guy and a hard-worker."

The investigator is a lucky fellow, too.

The $300 Million Gold Rush has only 10 $2.5 million tickets and 20 $1 million tickets.

Given the dire financial straits faced by the sheriff's department and the need for a new jail, might the sheriff be seeking a loan?

"Well I'm sure if I asked, he'd give it to me," Sheriff Strength said. "That's the kind of fellow he is."

This is the news paper article. From what I hear he will get it in payments of $125,000 a year before taxes which will be around $80,000 after for 20 years.

it depends on the life style you want to live. i would be happy and contnet to pay off my small 1400 sq. ft. house and live in it. i have no need for a bigger house because you usally fill it with needless stuff. i would invest some to be safe. and then i would get a truck and trailer and travel with my bike. during the winters i would work some job to pass time. but i would be content as a pig in s*%t. some people get money and blow on material goods not realizing, the novelty fades, life doesn't. charity would also benefit from some of it as you should always give back when you can.

HMMMMM......I'd hire someone to tell them I quit!

Ha ha, me and my buddy always used to talk about that. If we ever won the big powerball jackpot we were gonna hire Stone Cold Steve Austin and get him to come in and quit for us. I could see it now, have him walk in the bosses office with a steel fold up chair, hear a big klang and see him walk out.

As for how long I would be able to live on a millions, well since I know me, I would end up spending it all on the ladies.
