Lot's of work

Yes, those union people keep getting younger and younger. :D

That garage is really coming along. I am looking forward to seeing how it finishes up. The flooring seems to make a big difference.

Pretty nice of you to let your little girl use your tools and wear your Little Princess boots! :D (can't fool us!)

Dig the floor!:up

yeah, I have to agree with the others, that floor looks nice

where'd you get it? and how much?

I'm already dreaming of how to do my garage when I get a house next year...

Well the final cabenit are up and things are pretty much on the home streach if only i could catch a brake. while i was filling up the karosone heater my daguter woke up and while i was puting her to bed there was a siphen action that pulled the gas right out so after vacuming the fuel up there is still some to evaoprate I'm leaving the gargae door slighty open and venting it out the garage is sealed from the rest of the house so i should be ok.. anyways the floor is now 85% done and i'm seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

FINISHED

I'm glad all of you could join me on my quest and while the constrcution phase is done you all know now is the shove everything in the gargage phase but at least not i can fit two cars in the garage and not have to worry about puddles.

I want to use the VCT tiles....but I have a problem.

My garage slab is in excellent condition, but the previous owner but down a floor coating (dont know which brand), and of course it started getting hot tire pickup, etc.

Whats left on the floor now (power washed it when I moved in) is holding strong...I wonder if I could tile over the stuff that is still there , since it seems to have a good bond???

With a 3 car gargae, I dont want to do this twice!!!

Ok first i didn't use VCT tiles they are a race deck interlocking type tiles that are a vented design please look up the gargage tiles post to get pictures of these tiles. for a gargage with a DD in it I would go with nothing lesss because i don't like puddles.

patrick

.89 a tile 460 sq ft of tiles

Looks awesome Patrick. I love the tiles and the new organization. The racks overhead really work don't they?

I think you will really enjoy such a nice garage as an Autopian. I'm still thinking about what I'm going to do with my floors. If I do the concrete stain I have to wait until it gets warmer here in Atlanta - probably March or April, but I am getting more intrigued by the Racedeck option.

Looking good :xyxthumbs

Making a transformation like that, in the winter, in less than 3 weeks is something to be proud of.

Put your feet up (in your little princess boots of course) and enjoy the fruits of your labor.

One week? WOW!

To get everything moved around so you could work, paint, put up shevling and peg board, assemble cabinets, organize and put down the flooring, even with help from your nephew and your little one, you really kicked a**. :bow

How does the wife like the new garage or is she still skiing?
