Lots of cars, really. 156 pics.

In my professional opinion, this picture does it for me. :woot:

Dang that's alot of cars! So do boutique sealants measure up to high end Carnaubas? Or more of preference/biz operation.

Goodness. I don't know whats more impressive, your detail work or photography! I also love seeing the 335 in the background :)

How long do you wait after z5 to apply souvergn? Do you find this causes problems with the durability of Z5?

All the cars look amazing, especially love the look of those cars wearing Concorso and Concours, awesome depth and wetness :bigups .

Damn nice work there Picus. Love those black bimmers!

Do you tape of edges?

I don't normally tape edges. It depends on the car though.

Awesome!

So do the customers pick what LSP they want or do you decide?

It depends, 90% of the time I pick based on what I think will suit the client best whether it's durability, protection, ease of cleaning, or just plain looks.

Well it's a preference thing of both me and my customers I find. For me, I prefer the look of the waxes, and I find it makes the cars easier to clean when I have to maintain them. It sounds stupid, but washing a car with concours or concorso or mystery etc tends to go much more smoothly in my experience. I do use sealants when I need long term protection though.

I generally let Z5 sit for an hour or so after I buff it off. Applying Souveran on top *does* effect Z5's durability in my experience, but not enough that it bothers me. I might lose a few weeks, but if I am topping the sealant it's because I know I'll be back to re-apply an LSP again before it's gone, or the owner has asked me to.

Thanks guys.

if loven that m6 is wrong i don't want to be right! oh ya by the way i think you have the best job in the world!:bow

Wicked dude, but was your 335 *dirty*:grinno:

What lens are you shooting with?

It was dirty for some, and clean for others. My wife wanted to do a photoshoot of it so I had to wash it :p

I use a Tamron 17-35 lens, Canon 300d, full auto.

Dude, where's the "cable, go polish a sable" warning? I think you win for most pics :).

Cars look flawless; It's almost not fun to look at your posts anymore as the afters just reflect new paint. Good to see business is good. What's your winter look like? Indoor work?

wow just amazing.

how is the hi-temp line? is the htec and hthc more abrasive than the SIP?
