Looking to try a new car wash soap

Well I am almost out of my Pinnacle car wash. Looking to give something else a try. I have a Red Explorere and it does get dirty. I am using BF on it.

I have read about the BF wash being to harsh. Any BF Car wash users find this to be true.

Meguiar's gold class, Z7, P21s, E1's wash and Autoint's C are my top five washes. :up

I only used the BF wash once and i think it is a bit harsh.

BF is a bit harsh. I have since switched to Z7 with good results. I do like the Pinnacle Shampoo though and would say it ranks up at the top of my list....

P21S Bodywork Shampoo. Great long lasting suds, cleans really well, smells nice and only $8 or so per bottle. I have found one online company that has a yearly sale from July 1 - Aug 15 on all their auto shampoos and P21S sells for $7.20 ea(regularly $8.10) w/ $5 total shipping.

I really like P21S. It has a lot of suds and does a great job. Its kinda hard to find in my area. When I am done with it I plan on giving Gold Class a try.

Gold Class is great stuff....... IMHO it gets even more crud off the surface than Z7 does......

Thats why whenever I do a wash I use a mixture of half and half Gold Class and Z7 (mixed together in the same bucket - 2 capfulls of each in a 4 gal. bucket) gives me the shine enhancement of Z7 plus the extra cleaning power of GCCW. :up

I really like P21S but am currently out! The one dealer that sells it around here was closed by Wednesday for the holiday weekend. So when I went home to visit my folks in Indiana, picked up some Zymol. Smells nice (sort of like Hawaiian Tropic!) and lots of suds.

my merguiar's gold glass car wash hardly even has any suds... is it suppose to be like that?
If car soap is anything like "traditional soap", is San Diego's water "hard"?

how much of it are you using in how much water?? and how are you adding water?? you have to add water at rather high pressure to create sudsing.......

I usually add about a silver-dollar sized drop in the bottom of 4-4.5 galons of water, and use the "jet" setting on my nozzle.

SD water is pretty hard. when water drops get dried up, they spot up pretty heavy

i dont really measure but im sure i put a lot of it. I tried putting more cause i thought it was too watered down. ive only wash my car three times and half the bottle is gone.

My uncle gave me the gold glass, but i dont know how old it is. it could it be 3+? years old

but i didnt really use high pressured jet streams when i add water to it in a bucket. the hose i used didnt have a nozzle. i guess ill have to buy one! THANKS!
