Looking to simplify my arsenal of products

Last year I bought the basic stuff and tried out some different brands. I am now left with a lot of extra products I dont really need. Could anyone come up with a simplified list of affordable products that would help cut down on the ammount of stuff I need to bring?



The reason I ask is I dont have a ton of trunk space so the less bottles I can bring the more room for bigger items such as the powerwasher im getting in spring.
 
what kind of vehicle are you using for auto detailing and what kind of work are you performing . . . . basic details, corrections?



There are so many different types of products so depending on what kind of detailing you plan to do that will help us narrow things down.



Car Wash Soap

Window Cleaner

All Purpose Cleaner

Wheel & Tire Cleaner

Interior Dressing

Tire Dressing

Leather Conditioner (I would ask and only bring it if the client has leather)

Clay Bar

Clay Lube

Micro's

Terry Towels

Various Brushes

Wax or Sealant (of your choice)

Compounds & Polish (if doing correction)

Buffing Pads (if doing correction)



If you really want a pressure washer and don't mind spending $800 this is a good portable unit that might work for you:

for the most part that summarizes things in a nut shell . . . . you can get fancy and have a bunch of different interior sprays, multiple waxes, and everything else under the sun.

Sorry I was a bit vague. I dont do any paint correction but all other cleaning services, carpets, wash, wax ect. Im getting that Power washer for $50 and its electric 1600psi which is perfect. Also has a soap siphon system on it, a foam cannon and PW in one.



Also im my detailing "rig" if you want to call it that is my DD a 2008 pontiac g6 gt coupe. Not a ton of trunk space so thats why im trying to cut back on the things I need.



I think when im running low im going to switch over to all poorboys products I have a couple now and love them, and the community seems to like them as well.
 
Meguiars APC+ should handle cleaning almost all of the inside stuff (add Floex for spot cleaning), then HD PROTECT is my new favorite interiors dressing. For "wax" I'd use either Optimum Opt-Seal or Ultima Paint Guard Plus.
 
Yea not a bad ride to have when your 18. I would like to use most of the profits to continue the mods I have lined up. I know it may not be the best plan but it gives me incentive to really try. Aside from the mods it would pay for my books at college and the spending money I need down here.
 
You should look around before you settle on a brand...



ONR, OCW, Opti Seal, off the top of my head that will speed things up for you that have botique results.
 
How much ONR you have left? Im looking to try it out. PM me if you want to sell it.



As for affordable products, I would use Collinite 476s or 845. They are cheap and work really well.

I would try to stick to products that can be used in different applications. As for LSP, you should have a decent glaze, a good overall wax, and a spray wax. I pretty much do the same type of details that you do, but I do it at home. EZ-Creme, Collinite 845, and OCW have worked great for me. I have other stuff, but I wouldn't get rid of these products.
