I have many semi-Autopian products, but I feel its time to upgrade for the coming detailing season. I would like some input on the "best" products (in your opinion to get for the following uses:

PC- Coastal tool kit

pads-???? (compund, polish and buffing pads for rotary and PC)

compound- (something stronger than Menzerna IP) DACP or 1Z UP?

polish- (something between IP and FP) 1Z PP, or Meg's SMR, or 3m P3??

"wax"- P21S and Megs #16 (already have #476, plus NXT, Z and Wolfgang)

clay-??? (been using Meg's clay)

QD-??? (somethign that can clean dust, etc and enhance shine on sealant and carnuba)

Bug, tar and sap remover- ???

exterior trim "dresing"- ???

Tire dressing- ??? (Somethign that has a sheen, or semi-gloss shine. But somethign that will alst and be dry, not sling)

interior "dresisng"- ??? Meg's #40? (something a notch above 303 in sheen, non greasy)

Interior spot cleaner/grease and stain remover- ???

If you could also recomend the best place to buy said products that would be great! Its so hard to decide with Autogeek, autopia, CMA, etc.

Looks good how your goings. As far as your clay, if you don't like Meg's clay try Mothers, or Clay Magic. I tend to keep going back to Mothers after trying several different kinds.

All my exterior trim gets dressed with Stoners Trim Shine. Great stuff.

LightngSVT- I'll give you my $0.02 on a few of your prospective purchases.

Sure, get the PC and a bunch of Lake/CMA pads of different "cuts". I like the 5" flex plate with a 6" counterweight and 6.5" pads.

If you haven't tried the 1Z polishes, give them a shot. Get all three, UP, PP, MP. But remember that they leave wax behind, so watch what you try to top them with.

Also try the Meg's #16. I'm more impressed with it, overall, than I am with P21S. Someone recently saw it for about $10 a can,and a can will last for years.

A good QD to try is Quik Shine (sp?).

I like the Autopia "block" clay.

I generally try to patronize Autopia as much as I can, with CMA and TOL close behind.
