Looking to buy a rotary

I want the best pads possible. I am thinking of going with menzerna polish but have read they have fillers.. I am looking for a step process polish. Currently using SSR line.. Any brands of pads, and polish anyone recommends for a newbie to the rotary.

Does anyone have any experience with the Porter Cable 7428?

I don't seem to hear much about this one and a local tool place has them for about $150 (probably reman's). The RPM range doesn't seem as functional as others, though.

Thanks,

Randy

I have one have no complaints. They unit is actually was made by Flex when Porter cable owned Flex . And the starting speed at 1000 RPM has not been an issue. I also think ScottWax is using one

Menzerna does not have fillers you apparently misunderstood what you read. The anomolie that was beening talked about could effect any polish its something that relates to the oils in the polish and the reaction that paint has with them that cause some defects to be masked and reappear a few days later. But that is just a brief description of what actually takes place.
