looking for some touch up paint for wheels

Well it was bound to happen I guess, got a nice gouge out of my one wheel on my 2009 Honda Crv. there was a large rock hiding in a pile of snow at work and my rear wheel scraped it . the guy who plowed it must have moved it a little as it was never that close to the passenger side before. good news it is only one spoke but it is pretty deep. does anybody know of a good match for the oem Honda silver paint they use on the wheels ? did a google search and did not really see any solid info.
 
That's a tough one to match on your own without the assistance of a painter. You'd have to either buy a bunch of touch ups to compare or go to your local auto paint store and have them give you the right one.
 
I hear you on that one. the scrape is very small and will not require a lot of work. I will call the best body shop in town and see if they would paint the area as I also have a small ding on the door that they could remove too. there is also a paint place in the area that sells to most of the body shops in the area and they could match it I am sure. either way looks like some leg work on my part. have not seen any wheel repair shops in the area , so hopefully I will not need to find one. thanks for your thoughts . the lucky thing is the area is flat and other than that little scrape, the rest of the wheel is good as new. hate to spend $300 for a new wheel if I do not need to.
 
I'll share my experience with Duplicolor's Wheel Coating in silver. I was able to repair a 2-inch curb rash on a 2006 Honda Civic Si wheel. While it isn't a 100% match, it was extremely close. I actually tried using Honda's Satin Silver Metallic touch up paint, but it was too dark for the wheel. The Duplicolor silver was actually the best match. I followed up with the Duplicolor Clear coat.

Thanks for the heads up. still need to get to the body shop in my area that I trust. with the weather we have been having I have not been able to see them , to see what they say. appreciate the insight of your experience.
