Looking for some insight

I recently noticed some water etching on my 2003. Long story short I bought a PC and im getting ready to attempt to remove the blemishes.

This will be my first attempt at using a powered polisher and ive been gathering info and tips on the subject.

Picked up some lake country pads and PB's polish and SSR1 if the polish doesnt work.

Do I need to, or should I use some sort of glaze after im done before I "wax"?

If so, any recomendations on products, glaze, sealants, waxes or otherwise.

Little background on the car. Its a 2003 that was a daily driver at one time and now is more of a weekend warrior. The car is garaged when not in use and wont see much if any bad weather. The paint is a dark grey metalic and in great shape except for the etching on the hood and roof.

What I do is first wash and clay the car then hit it with PB SSR2.5 with a LC white polishing pad first on speed 4 to spread the 2.5 then run the PC on 5 or 6 then when you are happy with your work go on to the next step use PB pro polish again with a white pad and speed 4 to spread then run it up to 6 and work the polish in after this step its time to seal with PB EX this you can do by hand or with your pc speed 3 if you wish add 2 coats but on the second coat you must do by hand only then top it with some natty's and your done!
 
I would start with the least agressive pad/product combination first. Sealants give alot of reflection and gloss. Waxes give more depth and wetness. It's up to you what look you want. You could even do a sealant and then a wax if you can't decide. :)

What are the issues/problems with using the PC for the 2nd coat of PB EX?

I'm expecting delivery of my Edge 2K kit from Dwayne today and I'm planning on detailing my car this weekend using:
Wash and clay
SSR2.5
SSR1
EXP x 2 (waiting 24 hrs before 2nd coat)
PB Natty's Blue (waiting 24 hrs for 2nd coat of EXP to cure)

I have a beater car that will be used for practice.

Any advice or tips are very much appreciated.

The agressiveness of the PC and pads, even on low speeds, may be great enough to strip the existing layer of EX-P on the car. You wouldn't be hurting anything but you'd just be wasting your time and product without gaining any protection. The best way to layer sealants is by hand.
