Dent Wizard is insanely expensive and I'd like to get a decent amount of little dents and one larger dent removed. Does anyone know of any good PDR guys around here?

When you say "insanely expensive" how much are you talking per panel or dent ? Some guys charge per dent , some give you so many per panel depending on the size .

Lex89,

Whats up neighbor. I am in Spotswood, NJ. I have a dent in my rear quarter panel that i would like to see if someone can remove (when i get some time) so i started to look for PDR guys and here what i found:

1) Dent Wizard - Located at East Brunswick Buick Pontiac - 732-651-6200

2) Serves Central Jersey - http://www.mobent.com/pdr

3) 1-866-DENTZONE (15% off AAA)

4) Dent Man - Bordentown, NJ 08505 (609) 298-6551

5) Extreme Paintless Dent Removal 732-513-7312 extremedentrepair@gmail.com

6) Also there is a PDR guy that goes to the Major Car Wash (Major Road and Rt.1 North) in South Brunswick weekly that you can make an appt. for.

These are just ones i have found in NJ. I have not done to much research on them, so some of them might not be local, but they might be a mobile service too. If you do use any of these, let me know what you thought as I would like to find a good PDR guy too. Hope this helps!

Dent Wizard is pretty expensive so I don't really want to use them

Mobent PDR is only for corporate accounts

Haven't spoken to the other ones yet

Finally did it!

I called Drew at Extreme Paintless Dent Removal (he's located in Freehold) and set up an appointment for this morning. I got there at 11 and pointed out the bigger dents and as many as I could find. Quoted $225 or $215 (can't remember which) without the hood or roof, which had some 2 pretty large dents that were very hard to get to without taking out the headliner, and $350 with the hood (I said forget the roof); estimated 45 to an hour for the job.

About 3 hours and 15 minutes later he was done (I went with my dad to get something to eat in the middle). Did entire car including the roof, hood, and any other dents I could find without charging any extra. He used glue suction thingies to get the roof dents as well as the trunk dent (which he couldn't fix all the way). The roof turned out 97/98% I'd say. The trunk dent is only about 75% better but he told me before he started that it would be extremely hard to do (and he's not the first person to tell me that either). The acorn-sized dents are 100% gone.

All in all, I'm happy with the job. The only dent that you can really see anymore is the trunk dent, but other than that the car looks a lot better. I'd recommend him to anyone that needs PDR around here. He's a nice guy and has been doing this for 6-7 years. Thanks a lot Drew if you're reading this!

Lex89. thanks for replying back. i am going to have to give him a call for my vehicle too. Good to hear a good recommendation for a good local PDR guy. 2 questions for ya, 1) How does he charge, is it per dent or per panel? Also, 2) Is he mobile or is it a shop? thanks again

I think he'll do per dent or per panel, but I'm not sure what he'd charge in the per dent case. I told him I basically wanted to do the entire car-- I paid $350 for everything except the hood (he didn't think he'd be able to get to it with his tools), which he threw in anyway because he was able to do it pretty easily with the 'plunger' method (not a real plunger, it's a little more intricate than that). In fact, I'd say he did his best job on the roof.

i'm looking to get a small dent on my rear quarter panel removed as well..... but is drew really much cheaper than Dent Wizard? sounds like it ended up being around the same?

also is he mobile or does he have a location you go to?
