It also has to do with what the Market will bear in that area...
Some Markets are going to be higher, some lower, etc...
If the neighborhoods in the area All have $100k+ vehicles as Daily Drivers, and then much higher vehicles as well, the Market will be higher, providing the Quality of Detailing meets and exceeds expectations..
Those neighborhoods are the ones you want to target --- Or, do as I did - find the Best Independent Shop that services a lot of those really expensive vehicles, sell yourself and your work to the Owner, make a business arrangement for them to Sell your Services in exchange for a little cut, and you will have Clients for Life..
Along with being the best Dang Detailer in your area, you/we need to foster TRUST from the people who will be our Clients someday...
So, who do these rich people trust for sure with their Baby`s - yeah, that Shop that has gained their Trust over the years...
And, these people will Listen to the the Shop people when they tell them that they have a Detailer On site or Off site, that can make their vehicles "Like New Again" for them when they drop it off for service...
The Shop people KNOW how much the people spend, how much they can probably spend for your work, and will help you with that if they are good, honorable, men and women..
And the Clients won`t blink when the Shop includes the Detailing work charges along with the rest of the Invoice..
The Detailer Invoices the Shop for the work, and the Shop charges the Detailer an agreed upon percentage monthly..
