Looking for a trim dressing that could last

I'm looking for a product to put on plastic cladding. Here's the vehicle

As you can see, there is a lot of cladding, about 1' high all around the vehicle, including the front and rear bumpers. I tried a few OTC trim dressings but none can last more than a few days nor can any survive a wash. I hate having to reapply every week after washing.



I'd like to find one that could last for a month, so I could reapply during my monthly waxing. Are my expectations too high ? If so, 2 weeks would already be better.



Here are a few products I tried so far :

Mother's Preserves



Do you have any suggestions ?
 
Chemical Guy's Liquid Extreme Shine is good for a month plus.... lately I've been a convert to Trim-A-Shield's dye, it keeps that perfect OEM look (not too glossy) for *months*.
 
Youdo know that unpainted cladding, bumpers and all exterior trim can be machine polished?



Get yourself some ultra gloss superpolish. Thats awesome. Driven to perfection auto polish/sealant will deliver a super high gloss wet look to wiper arms, unpainted plastic cladding, exterior door mouldings etc



Then put on two coats of some glare, fireglaze or the ultra gloss polish (also a sealant) and your problems are over for months or years. Should never fade or spot again
 
I third Black Wow, it darkens the trim without the use of dyes and protection is supposed to last for months.

SVR, that's a good idea, but I'm working by hand until next year.
 
Ok not a problem. I'll be looking at trim and tire guard plus and Black Wow very shortly for shows
 
I've seen and read fantastic results with Zaino's Clear Seal and Optimum's Opti-Seal on trim. You might want to try a search on those products. Should be very durable as well. Good luck!

(I agree. Get the look you like and use Z5 or CS. It will last for months.
 
90-some % of the time I use use either the Klasse twins or Collinite (usually their 845). Some trim is 1Z polish-friendly too.



Plastic trim on MPV (and WRX before it): Klasse twins, W-O-W-O method.



Plastic trim on Blazer: 1Z PP topped with 845



Rubber trim on Volvo 240 wagon: AIO topped with Collinite 476S



Plastic and rubber trim on XJS: Pinnacle PCL topped with Souveran



Plastic trim on Audis: S8 gets UPP; A8, with lots of wear, is currently just getting FK425, sometimes preceded by VM



On the rare occasions when this LSP-based approach doesn't work, I use AutoGlym's Bumper Care, which at leasts lasts through a few washes (very easy to use too).
