Looking for a sheeting wax

Which wax sheets water instead of beading it? I know the S100, Pinnacle Signature Series II, Collonite 845 bead. I want something that sheets.

Some say that some nubas with polymers do sheet, however I have not found that with Fuzion. Other then that, I don't know of a pure nuba that will sheet water while standing.

I found that Deepfinish Swax sheets water great. I have a customer with a Porsche Cayenne Turbo, and always requests SWAX since the first time I used it. He said he loves the way the water just runs off.

Who sells Deepfinish besides their website?

The only sheeting product I know is SG, but you still have to dry it as water gathers in spots and tends to be larger but fewer than tight beading products. The weird thing about SG is sometimes is sheets and sometimes it beads. I've never heard of any LSP that you don't have to dry to prevent water spots.

UQD provides some of the best sheeting action I have ever seen. It's not a wax, but it's quick and easy to apply. Do it once a week (or more) and you will be set.

Here's some videos of it sheeting water (I realize it is moving water, but you get the point. NO wax or spray will sheet water that is sitting still on a totally flat surface that I know of).

Also, Meguiar's has Ultimate Quik WAX with the same technology that UQD has coming out in early 2009- so you may want to try that then, and UQD for now.

The closest i have seen an protectant "sheet" is the klasse twins. Not sure that it helped too much with standing water on the paint though. Insted of being in tight uniform beads, it is in odd, random, oblong kind of shapes.

Those videos all appear to leave substantial water on the surface, nice sheets but water gathers in larger beads and streams than a tight beading sealant or wax.

I'm not making the statement that beading is better or worse than sheeting, I personally thing they are the same. They both show protection, and they both leave some water on the surface after washing.:nixweiss
