Looking for a new toy

Was that your car? It looks good, classy set up.

Thanks, it was! I always thought it was tastefully done. Sold it a couple years ago since I was traveling heavily for work, and it didn't get much use. After the third time I went to drive it and the battery was dead.....I decided it was time to downsize temporarily.

Part of it was my own doing -- I had the car lowered within a millimeter of it's life, had the cats taken off w/exhaust so it was beautifully loud, and stiff suspension all around. It got to where I didn't really want to drive it too many places. If I was going to go downtown and have dinner and one drink (well under the limit) the chances for harassment on the way home were high. With the trunk barely fitting a 22" carry-on bag, wife didn't want to take it to the mall either.

The 911 I have now I drive the crap out of. Not nearly as sexy but much more usable. The NSX *would* have been more usable if you take away my mods. :)

But it wouldn't have looked nearly as good....

I didn't even think about an NSX but I did a little looking and found a few in my area. I'll look more on line.

When my brother saw I was looking them up he asked what kind of car it was and was it new. It goes to show how well designed and timeless their styling is.

nsxprime.com is the spot for more information than you ever wanted to know!

If you're a F1 fan, the link to the NSX is pretty cool.

(for an F1 fan that's pretty much p0rn right there)

Plus, find a picture of Ayrton Senna washing another car....

I can relate to not wanting to drive it many places. Right now my fear is more of someone putting a ding, scratch, etc on my car. I will agree thou, those were timeless styles, and yours looked tastefully done. Is your 911 modded too?

My 911 is bone stock! I even have the factory spring loaded cassette tape organizer still in place. :) It's a base model 99 Carerra Cab with a nice wheel option from the factory.

When I've seen the base model 911's gussied up I usually don't like the look. The turbos and turbo-look cars carry mods better in my opinion.

I know what you mean with your old NSX. My TA is lowered and with the long tube headers and custom exhaust from the headers back and I scrape. It was worse before I had it redone. It's hard to drive certain places because of the roads

My vote is for the 2012 Camaro SS. This past October, I traded in my 2002 Camaro Z28 (only had 20,000 miles on it) for a 45th Anniversary Editon Camaro SS Convertible. What an awesome car, I must say. I also looked at the Challenger, but being a tru "GM" guy, I went with the Camaro. You wont be disappointed.

I spent an hour or two last night looking at the Camaro and picking out exactly how I wanted it. I can't fully decide on color right now. I really like the 45th anniversary but I like the idea of going old school and doing white with orange stripes like the old Z10 Camaros. I have several mods picked that I want to do when/if I get it.

My only issue with 45th is the fact I can't do some options like the heritage grille and the dove tail spoiler. I'd have to do it myself after I bought the car.
