looking for a good QD

Clearkote's Quikshine. Haven't used anything else for about a year and a half now, other than a few samples I've tested.

I¡Â¦m rediscovering Meguiar¡Â¦s Final Detail. I haven¡Â¦t touched it since this thread 14 months ago:

Now that y'all rave about it, I magically seem to like it a bit more than before. It's moderately slick and works well as an economical daily QD. At $13/gallon it's expensive for water, fragrance, and lubricant, but it's cheaper than most other products out there.

BW can sometimes mean Band Wagener, you know... :o

Pickin up my jug of FD Wed morning. Can't wait to try it.

Meg's tech support said they like it better than FI cause they

ain't doing any painting when they do car shows anyway. FI is bodyshop safe meaning no silicones wheras FD has silicone hence the higher shine and slickness.

I've tried Mother's, Meguiar's Quik Detail, Eagle One and Pinnacle. I like Pinnacle the most and EO the least. It's a toss up between Meguiar's and Mother's. Even EO is ok though.

Broadest use: Meguiar's #34 FI

When I want to freshen up with a little wax: Pinnacle's QD

both are excellent products.
