Looking for a fine alcohol beverage....

if you are going for a scotch in the price range i would go with the 12 year old glenfarcles... no not glen fidich.. thats what im drinking right now.



I am a hige scotch drinker at 19, i try to go to a tasting montly. For that price you cant go wrong with glenfarkles..(sp)

A bottle of 151 would also work! a couple shots of 151 and anything will taste glorius!

151 is candy in a bottle. The trick is.. you open the bottle, throw out the lid so u Have to finsish...(and no im not kidding about the cady comment.. im a big drinnker on weekends, after the detailing and homework is done lol)



if you want a buzz get some everclear. Also know as grain alchol. its stronger then 151 and will F-you up bad. There is a guy online called tucker max.. TuckerMax.com .. he has what is kow as tucker max death mix



1 red bull

1 litre of gatoraid (blue is best)

1 bottl eof everclear



Thow it in a blender, mix it all up then out it in a cammel back and have fun.. Thats how you pary...

I went over to Costco this afternoon while I was shopping like a manic. Luckily the liquor store is seperate from the main store or else I'd still be in line. I ended up going with a bottle of Grey Goose L'Orange. Seems like they have a bunch of cool recipes with it on their website. Thanks everyone for all the suggestions/helpful posts. :xyxthumbs

Good choice, Goose is awsome, the orange is my fav. Its awsome on the rocks, mixed, or in a shot glass. If you really wnt him to enjoy it tell him to keep in the freezer. It wont freeze dont worry, and it will make it a little thicker and smoother... mmmmmmmm... to bad its only 12 here or i would have to have one,. maybe tonight

ugh, I think I threw up a little in my mouth. You made me think about those Saturday nights in high school with a bottle of 151 sitting around my friend's kitchen table playing the card game A$$hole.

if u want to get some tequila try some of sammy haggars cabo wabo or try some patron. both really good, u don't even need the lemon and salt to chase it with, it's that good. maybe some crown royal will do also. not much into scotch tastes like burnt wood to me, guess its an acquired taste. but as stated earlier by someone else, getting him a lap dance at a strip club would probably be better, i know that's what i do.
 
I think he will enjoy a bottle of porto more than any of the harder drinks.



LBV or vintage bottle of porto is in that price range. Try Taylor Floodgate, Grahams, Sanders and Offley.

Gin is more of a summer drink, but if he is a gin or vodka guy, pick up a bottle of grey goose, or bombay saphire, and maybe a mixer or two.



I like to buy those gift sets that are out this time of year. Basically it's about the same price as the bottle but comes in a box and includes things like a cocktail shaker or nice glasses.



If he likes manhattans, get him a bottle of wild turkey or gentlemen jack. If he's a whiskey nut, get him maker's mark.



If he likes after dinner drinks, get him a bottle of drambuie or grand marnier,etc.



I think for 30 dollars you can get something really nice.
